Figure Sculptures

The photos on the left are from the exterior of the memorial, and the photo on the right is from the interior. The sculpture combines traditional Hindu iconography, tribhanga and straight postures, and "pipestem" legs in an overall regional style.

In the interior (right photo), Agni is on the left and Harihara on the right. Center photo is Nirriti. I have not identified the gods shown on the left photo.

Curiously, Harle (p. 244) claims that the memorials at Mandor are "devoid of figure sculpture."
